Comment Policy

Comments are welcome, but they need to meet a basic standard of clarity and honesty. Comments should contribute to that process, not derail it.

Here’s what will be removed without discussion:

  • Personal attacks — on me or on other commenters
  • Assertions without evidence — if you make a claim, show your source
  • Propaganda, slogans, or talking points — from any side
  • AI‑generated filler — if it reads like noise, it goes
  • Misrepresentation of facts — deliberate or careless
  • Comments posted only to provoke a reaction

Here’s what is allowed:

  • Disagreement — as long as it’s grounded in evidence
  • Corrections — especially if I’ve missed something
  • Additional sources — data, documents, reports, lived experience
  • Alternative interpretations — if they’re argued clearly

And here’s what I’d like to see:

  • Constructive thinking that points toward practical improvements If a topic raises a real issue, the most useful comments are the ones that help clarify what could be done about it. This isn’t a place for campaigning or rallying, but if an idea suggests a better way forward, that’s worth discussing.

I’m not trying to create a community or a following. I’m trying to be accurate. If your comment helps with that — or helps turn clarity into something useful — it stays. If it doesn’t, it won’t.
